Jordan

Small hands, clean coasts.
Join the Clean Planet Crew.

We bring neighbours together to clear plastic from neighbourhoods, national parks, and beaches, and to build the habits that keep it from coming back.

Our mission

Community action against plastic pollution

Clean Planet Crew is a volunteer-driven initiative fighting plastic pollution through community cleanups, education, and teamwork, working with residents, schools, businesses, and local governments in Jordan.

We believe small actions, multiplied across a community, change what a place looks like, and how people treat it. Every cleanup we run is also a lesson in connectivity, cooperation, and teamwork.

Cleanups

Organised neighbourhood, national park, and beach cleanups with proper safety briefings, equipment, and waste sorting, so every kilo collected is handled responsibly.

Education

Workshops for schools and community centres on where plastic comes from, where it ends up, and what each of us can do.

Teamwork

Cleanups work when people work together. We build connectivity, cooperation, and teamwork between volunteers, schools, and local communities across Jordan.

Before you come

Questions people ask us first

If yours isn't answered here, send us a message and we'll get back to you.

Do I need any experience?

No. Every cleanup opens with a short safety briefing covering what to pick up, what to leave for the team with proper equipment, and where everything goes. If you can carry a bag, you can do this.

What should I bring?

Closed shoes, a hat, sunscreen, and a refillable water bottle. We bring the gloves, bags, grabbers, and a first aid kit.

Can I bring my children?

Yes. Children are welcome with a parent or guardian who stays with them for the whole event. We keep younger volunteers away from glass and sharp waste, and give them their own area to work in.

How long does a cleanup take?

Most run two to three hours, including the briefing at the start and weighing what we collected at the end.

Does it cost anything?

No. Cleanups and workshops are free, and always will be.

What happens to the waste we collect?

We sort it on site. Recyclable plastic, glass, and metal go to recycling; the rest goes to municipal collection. We also record what we find, so over time we can show which products keep turning up on our coasts and streets.

Can my school, company, or group join as a team?

Yes, and group cleanups are some of our best days out. Email info@cleanplanetcrew.com with rough numbers and a date range, and we'll plan one with you.

I'm not in Jordan. Can I still help?

Yes. Register as a volunteer and choose translation, design, or social media. A lot of what we do happens well before anyone reaches a beach.
